Directions to Phi Mu Delta

We are located off campus--trust us, it's a very desireable thing. Our two houses are located next to each other at the address of 224 Pawling Avenue.

To get here from the Union (facing the quad):

  1. Take a left on 15th street
  2. Follow 15th under the bridge, past the firehouse, until you reach the end at a T intersection
  3. At the intersection, make a left onto Congress St. (Route 2)
  4. When the road splits, veer to the right and go over a bridge. Congratulations, you are now on Pawling Avenue, otherwise known as Route 66!
  5. After going through two lights, you'll soon pass by Hawthorne Avenue on the right. Soon after, also on the right, is a large tree with a 224 sign on it that threatens to fall onto someone's car someday. In that driveway are our two beautiful white houses, the Big House, and to your right, the Little House.

If you do not want to walk or drive here yourself, you may do one of two things. One, you can call the house, and see if any of us are around to give you a ride. Or you may take the CDTA bus as explained below, provided FREE by RPI.

The CDTA Bus Schedule

There are two CDTA buses that travel between our house, RPI, and downtown -- the 86 RPI Shuttle and the 89 Bus. We pick up both under the bridge across from the union and usually get dropped off directly in front of our house. Note that all the times given are from the union to Pawling... the 86 return trip runs 7 minutes later and the 89 return trip leaves 28 minutes later.

Weekdays:

  • Starting from 7:15 a.m., the 86 runs every 45 minutes until 5:00 p.m.
  • From 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., the 86 runs every hour and a half (and until 3:30 a.m. on Friday night)
  • The 89 bus leaves hourly from 9:10 a.m. until 6:10 p.m, in addition to runs at 7:05 a.m., 8:05 a.m., and 5:40 p.m.

Saturdays:

  • The 86 shuttle leaves every hour and a half starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 3:30 a.m.
  • The 89 bus leaves hourly starting at 10:40 a.m. and ending at 4:40 p.m.

Sundays:

  • The 86 shuttle leaves every hour and a half starting at 2:45 p.m. and ending at 10:15 p.m.
  • The 89 bus does not operate on Sundays.
